Zakouma National Park, managed by African Parks, is one of Africa's great conservation turnarounds — elephant poaching cut by roughly 90% before numbers began recovering, and the park is now among the best-protected in Africa.
The Ennedi Natural and Cultural Reserve pairs rock art dating back 7,000 years with desert ecology under an African Parks/Government of Chad partnership, while Siniaka Minia National Park joined the same management partnership under a 2026 agreement.
