Tours & travel services in São Tomé and Príncipe

São Tomé and Príncipe occupies a unique position in the Gulf of Guinea as a tropical island destination with world-class biodiversity, UNESCO-recognized cultural heritage, and an emerging fine-cacao experience economy—qualities that make it ideal for exclusive corporate retreat and incentive programs. Global Bush Travel designs bespoke programs centered on São Tomé's pristine Atlantic beaches (Praia Piscina, Praia Lagarto, Praia Micondó), guided sea turtle watching at Praia Jalé, and private access to heritage cacao farms on the island's historic roça plantation estates. Príncipe Island's UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve offers unparalleled experiences: humpback whale watching between July and October, endemic bird trekking with professional ornithologists (São Tomé's endemic obô species are found nowhere else on Earth), and private stays at HBD Bom Bom Island—one of Africa's most exclusive eco-resorts. Culinary incentive programs incorporate chocolate-making workshops at Claranor and Roça São João plantations, boat fishing for wahoo and dorado in the island's unspoiled waters, and dinners featuring São Tomé's fusion Creole-Portuguese cuisine. All inter-island transfers are arranged via Príncipe Air and private speedboat charter.
